1. What you get
Room Guard is a Wix app that refuses a new or moved booking when another service that shares the same room is already booked at an overlapping time. You install it from the Wix App Market and set it up inside your Wix dashboard.
2. Plans and payment
The free plan guards 1 room with up to 3 services. The paid plan guards any number of rooms and services, shows bookings that already overlap in the next 60 days, and keeps a log of refused bookings. Wix sells the paid plan, charges you, and handles renewals, cancellations and refunds under the Wix App Market terms. Prices are shown on the app's Wix App Market page.
3. How the check behaves
If the app cannot finish a check (for example Wix is slow or a request fails), it lets the booking through rather than block it. Two clients who book the same time at the very same moment can both get through. A class session with no bookings yet does not hold the room. Bookings made before you set up a room are never cancelled; the paid plan lists them so you can act.
4. Your data
The app reads your services and bookings through Wix and keeps only your room settings (and, on the paid plan, a log of refused bookings) on your site. See the Privacy Policy: https://prometheus-maker.github.io/wix/room-guard/privacy.html
5. Availability and changes
The app depends on Wix's platform and the Bookings APIs. If Wix changes or limits them, features may stop working until the app is updated.
6. No warranty
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, there is no warranty that every overlapping booking will be refused.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost or double bookings. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
8. Ending use
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it in your Wix dashboard. Rooms stop being checked as soon as it is uninstalled.
