What it does
A sauna runs communal sessions as a class and private hire as an appointment. Both use the same room, yet a client can still book a class seat in the hour someone hired it. Booking resources only stop appointments clashing with each other; classes and courses ignore them.
Room Guard closes that gap. You list the services that share a room, and when a client books or moves a booking, the app checks the other services in that room. If one of them is already booked at an overlapping time, the booking is refused and the client sees your message, for example "The sauna is booked privately at this time. Please pick another slot." Clients joining the same class session still book together.
If your services already list the same room as a resource, the app finds it for you and you only press Guard. You and your staff can still book over a taken room from the dashboard if you want.
If anything goes wrong while checking, the booking goes through: a broken check never stops you taking bookings.
The free plan guards 1 room with up to 3 services. Premium guards every room, lists bookings that already overlap in the next 60 days, and logs every refused booking.
