How to get help

Quick answers

How do the rules add up?

Everything you fill in for a person adds up: per session, per hour of session length, per person, a share of the price, a bonus for full sessions, and a base amount for each day they worked. A service with its own row uses only that row; other services use the person's general rule.

What does "Rate by class size" do?

It pays one rate per person, picked by how many came. "11: 1.00, 21: 2.00" pays nothing for up to 10 people, 1.00 per person for 11 to 20, and 2.00 per person from 21.

Which bookings count?

Confirmed bookings in the date range, by the start time in the booking's own time zone. Canceled, declined and pending bookings don't count. Turn on "Count only bookings marked as attended" to count only people you marked as attended.

A class shows several bookings on one line.

All bookings in one class session are one session, so per-session pay and bonuses are paid once and people are added up.

What price does "% of price" use?

The price on the booking's order. Bookings paid at the venue without an order use the service's list price. Bookings paid with a membership can count as 0 or at list price; you choose.

A course is missing.

Course bookings have no staff member on the booking, so the app can't tell whose they are and leaves them out. The report says how many it left out.

Where are my rules saved?

In your site's CMS, so everyone who manages the site sees the same rules. If your site has no CMS, the app saves them in your browser and shows a note.

Where the app lives

In your dashboard, open Manage Apps, then Payday: Staff Pay.

Privacy

See the privacy policy. In short: the app reads bookings on your site and the developer receives nothing.
