This policy describes what the Loyalty Rules app ("the app") does with data.
What the app does
The app adds earning rules to your site's loyalty program. When a plan renews, an order with event tickets or an invoice is paid, or an order is refunded, it gives or takes back loyalty points by the rules you set in your dashboard.
Data the app handles
- Your rules: the rule settings you save, stored in a collection on your own site.
- Orders and plan orders: the buyer's contact ID, amounts, line items and refund amounts of the order that triggered a rule, read through Wix's APIs when the event happens.
- Invoices: the customer's contact ID, status and total of paid invoices.
- Loyalty accounts: the customer's account ID, name, balance and point transactions, read and updated to give or take back points.
- An activity list: for each action, the date, the customer's name and contact ID, the points, the reason and the order or invoice ID, stored in a collection on your own site so you can see what happened.
- Plan status: the app asks Wix whether your site is on the free or the paid plan.
- Browser settings: whether you closed the intro and review boxes, kept in your browser's local storage.
Where the data goes
The app's code runs on Wix's own hosting and in your browser, and reads and writes only through Wix's APIs. The developer has no server of its own and never receives, stores or sees your customers' data. Nothing is shared with anyone else. Removing the app stops all rules; the two collections stay on your site until you delete them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted at this address with a new effective date.
