Privacy Policy: Roll Call: Member Check-In
Effective date: 2026-11-07

This policy describes what the Roll Call app ("the app") does with data.
What the app does
At your front desk, you search for a person. The app shows their plan, whether it is active and paid, and their bookings for today. When you press Check in, the app can mark today's booking as attended and adds one line to a check-in log in your site's own database.
Data the app handles
- Contacts: name, email and phone of the people you search for, read from your site's contacts when you search. Nothing is copied out of your site.
- Members and plans: whether the contact is a site member, and their plan orders (plan name, status, start and end dates, payment status), read when you open a person.
- Bookings: that person's bookings for today and their attendance. When you check someone in, the app sets attendance on that booking in your Bookings app.
- Session balances: if a plan has a limited number of sessions, the number left.
- Check-in log: one line per check-in (time, name, email, contact ID, plan, status shown, class). It is stored in a collection named "Roll Call check-ins" in your site's CMS, visible to you there.
- Plan status: the app asks Wix whether your site is on the free or the paid plan of the app.
- One browser setting: when you close the intro box, the app remembers that in your browser's local storage.
Data the app does not collect
The app has no servers and no database of its own. It does not send any data to the developer or to any third party. It uses no analytics, no tracking, no third-party scripts, no advertising, and it adds nothing to your public site.
Sharing
We do not sell or share data. The only parties involved are you and Wix. Wix processes data under its own privacy policy (https://www.wix.com/about/privacy). Payments for the paid plan are handled by Wix; the developer does not receive card details.
Retention and deletion
Check-in log lines stay in your site's collection until you delete them in the CMS. Uninstalling the app stops all reads and writes. The developer holds no data, so there is nothing for the developer to delete.
Your members' rights
You are the controller of your members' data. If a member asks you to delete their check-in history, delete their lines in the "Roll Call check-ins" collection.
Children
The app is a business tool for site owners and their staff and is not directed at children.
Changes
If the app changes what it does with data, this policy will be updated before the change is released and the effective date will change.
