Quick answers
How do I start?
Add a form to your site with a short text field for the title, a long text field for the post and a field for the guest's name. Publish the site. Open the app, pick the form, check the Settings tab once and press Save settings.
Where do accepted posts go?
They become drafts in your blog (Blog > Drafts). Edit them, add a title if the guest left it empty, and publish as usual. The app never publishes anything.
Who is the author of a draft?
The member you pick in Settings, normally you, with the guest's name as a byline at the top. On Premium, when the guest was logged in as a member, the draft can go under that member's own profile instead.
Can I change the byline?
Yes. In Settings, write any line with {name} where the guest's name goes, for example "Written by {name} for the club". Leave it empty for no byline.
How do headings and links work?
A line that starts with "# " becomes a heading ("## " a smaller one). Web addresses become links. HTML tags are removed.
The guest's category isn't on the post
The category choice must match the name of a blog category. If no category has that name, the app tells you in the preview.
Photos don't show (Premium)
Map the upload field under "Images" in Settings and switch on photos. Only image files are used.
How do automatic drafts work? (Premium)
Switch them on in Settings. Each new post becomes a draft within a minute, and it still waits for you to publish it.
What counts toward the free limit?
Each draft the app makes, across the site, per calendar month.
Where the app lives
