This policy describes what the Form PDF app ("the app") does with data.
What the app does
The app is a page in your Wix dashboard. It reads your site's forms and their submissions, shows them in a table, and turns them into PDF files. On the paid plan it can also save a PDF of each new submission in the Files of the matching contact.
Data the app handles
- Your forms: names, fields and choices, read to build the table and the PDF layout.
- Form submissions: the answers visitors sent, including uploaded files and signatures. They are read to show the table and to draw the PDFs. Images are downloaded from Wix's media servers so they can be placed in the PDF.
- Contacts: when you file a PDF on a contact card, or when automatic filing is on, the PDF is uploaded to that contact's attachments. The app does not read other contact details.
- Your PDF design: business name, title, logo, colour, footer, field order and hidden fields, stored in a collection on your own site.
- A filing log: for each PDF filed on a contact card, the submission ID, contact ID, file name and result, stored in a collection on your own site.
- Plan status: the app asks Wix whether your site is on the free or the paid plan.
- Browser settings: the last form you opened and whether you closed the intro and review boxes, kept in your browser's local storage.
Where the data goes
PDFs you download are made in your browser and saved on your computer. Automatic filing runs as app code hosted by Wix and talks only to Wix's own APIs. The developer runs no server of its own, never receives, stores or sees your forms, submissions, files or contacts, and nothing is shared with anyone else.
Deleting data
Uninstalling the app stops all reading and filing. The design and the filing log live in your site's collections, and filed PDFs stay on the contact cards until you delete them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted at this address with a new effective date.
