This policy describes what the Coupon Forge app ("the app") does with data. It is short because the app does very little with it.
What the app does
The app runs inside your Wix dashboard. It creates, lists, exports and deletes coupons on your site by calling Wix's own Coupons API. It does this only when you press a button.
Data the app handles
- Coupon data: the codes, discount settings, usage counts and set names that you create or import. This data is stored by Wix in your site's coupon list. The app reads and writes it through Wix. The app does not keep its own copy.
- Plan status: the app asks Wix whether your site is on the free or the paid plan, to decide which features to enable. It uses the app instance information that Wix provides (instance id and plan). It does not read your name, email address, or payment details.
- One browser setting: when you close the "How it works" box, the app remembers that in your browser's local storage (one on/off flag, no personal data).
- CSV files: when you import, the file is read in your browser and its codes are sent to Wix to create coupons. When you export, the file is created in your browser and saved to your device. The file never goes through our servers because we have none.
Data the app does not collect
The app has no servers and no database. It does not collect, store or send to the developer or to any third party: personal data, customer data, site visitor data, order data, analytics, cookies, advertising identifiers or logs. It uses no tracking, no analytics tools, no third-party scripts and no advertising. It does not run on your live site and sets no cookies on your visitors.
Sharing
We do not sell or share data. The only parties involved are you and Wix. Wix processes your data under its own terms and privacy policy (https://www.wix.com/about/privacy). Payments for the paid plan are handled entirely by Wix; the developer does not receive card details.
Retention and deletion
Because the developer holds no data, there is nothing for the developer to retain or delete. Coupons you create stay in your site's coupon list until you delete them, in the app or in the Wix coupons page. Uninstalling the app does not remove existing coupons.
Customers and visitors
Coupon codes are not linked to individuals by the app. If a customer uses a code, the usage count is recorded by Wix, not by the app.
Children
The app is a business tool for site owners and is not directed at children.
Changes
If the app ever changes what it does with data, this policy will be updated before the change is released, and the effective date will change.
