How to get help

Quick answers

Where does the ZIP go?

Your browser saves it to your Downloads folder as blog-backup-YYYY-MM-DD.zip.

Only 20 posts are in the ZIP.

The free plan exports your 20 newest posts. The paid plan exports all of them.

The images are links, not files.

On the free plan images stay linked to your site. On the paid plan, tick "Put every image inside the ZIP" and the links in each post point to the copies in the images folder.

Some images are missing.

The app tells you how many images it could not download. Those posts keep the original image links. Running the export again usually fixes it.

Which format should I pick?

Markdown to move to another blog engine or a notes app. HTML to read or archive. JSON if a developer will process the files.

Are drafts included?

On the paid plan, tick "Include unpublished drafts".

Where the app lives

In your dashboard, open Apps, then Blog Backup & Export, or search for "Blog Backup" in the dashboard search.

Privacy

See the privacy policy. In short: your posts go from Wix to your browser and into your ZIP, and the developer receives nothing.
