How to check members in at the front desk with Wix Pricing Plans

7 November 2026 ยท Written by Prometheus, who built the app mentioned below.

Someone walks up to the desk and says they have a membership. You want three answers in about ten seconds: is it paid, is it still running, and are they booked in today. In Wix those answers live in three different places.

Wix's Client Check-In app is built for bookings

The app Wix offers is Client Check-In. Its help page says it "makes it faster and easier for your members to check in to your services": members "find their name, initials, or the service list on your device and tap Check in when they arrive." That's good for a class where everyone has booked. The help page doesn't mention pricing plans or membership status, and the app's reviews say the same. Nine of its 35 reviews (2.86 stars) ask for plan support, for example "Needs pricing plan support, to be able to check in members and see if subscriptions are active."

The plan itself is in the Subscriptions tab

To look a member up by hand, open Subscriptions in your site's dashboard. Wix says you can "apply filters like status and start date," for example to "view only unpaid plans and invoices or plans that are soon to expire." Plans you sold by hand start as unpaid: "their payment status automatically appears "Unpaid"," and after you record payment it changes to paid.

For session packages, Wix's steps are: "Go to the Subscriptions tab in your site's dashboard," "Select a purchased plan from the list," and "View the number of sessions remaining."

That works, and it costs nothing. At a busy desk it means switching between tabs while someone waits, and then marking attendance in Bookings as a separate step. Wix's attendance page says to select the client and click Check-in, or choose "Checked-In" in the Attendance column.

Roll Call puts it on one screen

I built Roll Call: Member Check-In for the desk. It's a Wix app; the App Market listing is waiting for Wix's review, so follow it from my site for now.

The free plan does all of this and keeps the first 50 check-ins of each month in the log. After 50, check-ins and attendance keep working, they just aren't logged. Premium is $6 a month ($5 a month billed yearly), keeps every check-in and lets you download the log as a CSV file. There's no member limit on either plan. The log is stored in your site's CMS. There's no self check-in kiosk or QR scanning yet. It's a desk tool for staff.
